Spend time as a family and with friends, go to the sauna during the day, use the wellness area and go on winter walks. On a winter holiday in the Naturel Hoteldorf SCHÖNLEITN, everyone will find their perfect spot. The village square is particularly cosy at dusk. The summer Kärnten Card, the well-known classic for an active holiday in Carinthia, is now also available in winter. Ski-Tours in the Area

Discovering the region away from the typical pistes - this is particularly exciting on touring skis. As you often lack equipment, technique, avalanche and local knowledge, we take this hurdle for you. In our hotels, we make sure that you can hire the equipment and provide you with a state-certified mountain and ski guide. All you need to bring is fun, fitness for 3-4 hours of easy-medium ascent and a safe parallel turn.

An real highlight, at the Naturel Chalet AM BERG - the Knappenhütte, you can strap on your touring skis right in front of the house and head up to the summit of the Dobrtasch at sunrise.

Snowshoeing / winter hiking & cross-country skiing

The surrounding ski areas are increasingly catering for non-skiers, even without skis. Well-maintained winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails are ideal for enjoying the winter landscape away from the ski slopes. You can comfortably take the cable car to the summit or reach the Dobratsch Nature Park via the Villach Alpine Road. Whether on snowshoes or simply on foot, there is so much to discover in the Villach region - at any time of year.

Tobogganing & building a snowman

The toboggan run is right opposite the hotel village SCHÖNLEITN. You can hire a toboggan from the ski school in the hotel village, which saves space in the car. And when there's plenty of snow in the hotel village on Lake Faak, it's time to build snowmen. We are happy to provide additional equipment such as carrots.
