And best of all, the hotels are located in the centre of Carinthia's magnificent natural landscape. Perfect for hikes with the whole family. Walking paths suitable for pushchairs are right on the doorstep during your holiday at the Naturel Hotels & Resorts, also ideal for running laps or for a Nordic walking tour. We recommend suitable walks with and without children of all ages. These hikes are of course tested by us in advance. And if you are looking for a beautiful summit, a via ferrata tour or more, we have great mountain guides on hand who will accompany you competently through the mountains on your holiday and also offer courses such as rope technique, climbing level certificates and much more.

- Guided hikes: While you can discover the area on your own at any time, we also offer free guided hikes - at various levels of difficulty and accompanied by our Carinthian mountain hiking guides.
- Hiking bus: The hotel's own hiking bus provides mobility during your holiday at the Naturel Hotels. You can hike comfortably from A to B on selected stages of the Alpe-Adria Trail and we will take you to the starting point of the hike and pick you up again at your destination.
- Special extra: "MY GUIDE", from now on you can book your own personal hiking guide. You tell us where you want to go and our mountain hiking guide will accompany you on the wonderful trails in the region.
Erlebnis CARD of the Region Villach
In addition to the Naturel programme, the Villach region offers programmes 7 days a week from May to October with the Adventure Card. It pays to take part in the programmes led by local hiking guides. The Adventure Card is available free of charge at reception on arrival.

Climbing holidays in Carinthia
The Kanzianiberg climbing mountain, also
known as "Kanzi" among climbing fans, attracts many climbing enthusiasts as the
largest and most spectacular sport climbing garden in Carinthia. With more than
300 routes and around 400 pitches, this mountain is one of the best climbing
gardens in Austria. It can be easily reached from the Naturel Hotels &
Resorts in just a few minutes by car. Alpine schools, such as Sepp Egarter's,
are available with their expertise and offer many courses. The reception team
will be happy to advise you.
Also popular and nearby is the Peterlewand, near Lake
Ossiach, a climbing garden in St. Urban near Bodensdorf. Perfect for all
climbing enthusiasts - whether beginners or advanced climbers.
Get your climbing licence on holiday
Take your climbing licence home with you so that you can use the climbing hall safely or secure your child yourself during their first climbing experiences:
- Top Rope climbing licence, level I for beginners
- Climbing licence for lead climbing, level II for advanced climbers
You can acquire both climbing licences during your holiday at the Naturel Hotels & Resorts under the guidance of a state-certified mountain and ski guide. Our partner, the 4 Jahreszeiten Alpinschuhle, is on hand with help and advice. Of course, there are many other climbing activities for beginners, for families or for very ambitious climbers in the immediate vicinity of the Naturel Hotels & Resorts on Lake Faak and on the Gerlitzen Alpe - ideal for anyone who wants to experience an active holiday.
High ropes parks in the Villach region
The high ropes parks on Lake Faak, Lake Ossiach and the Gerlitzen Alpe are ideal for families. You can reach the Hochhinauf high ropes park on the Taborhöhe in just a few minutes, as it is located in the immediate vicinity of our Naturel hotel village SEELEITN. An excursion is always worthwhile, if only for the breathtaking view of Lake Faak.
