The best of both worlds: at the mountain, yet near the lake
The mountain resort DIE KANZLERIN is located on the Gerlitzen Alpe on the northern shore of Lake Ossiach. At around 1,500 m above sea level, the recently modernised hotel resort nestles in the picturesque Carinthian alpine landscape and offers the best of both worlds: Holidays by the lake and in the mountains. Guests include families and couples as well as activity and sports enthusiasts, groups and business clients. The resort is also perfect for incentive and teambuilding events, seminars and weddings. With the "Rent a Resort" concept, the entire resort with all services can also be booked exclusively.
The suites with "Alpine charm" were completely renovated in 2022 and furnished with natural fabrics, lots of wood and light colours. They are between 55 and 75 m2 in size and offer space for up to 6 people with 1-2 bedrooms. The furnishings also include a spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchen, barrier-free bathroom with shower and WC, underfloor heating, satellite TV, free W-LAN and a balcony or garden access. The basic equipment such as bed linen, hand and bath towels as well as running costs are included in the price. For guests arriving by car, one parking space per flat is available free of charge in the hotel's own underground car park.
Guests can choose between breakfast or half board in the hotel's restaurant.
There is also the option of self-catering in the suite. In addition, various
"Naturel Genussboxen" are on offer, where the prepared dishes only have to be
finished.
The resort is nestled in the "Gerlitzen Alpe" ski area and
provides direct access to the perfectly groomed slopes in winter. From spring to
autumn, the Gerlitzen Alpe is a popular nature and hiking area with a wide range
of sports and leisure activities. In addition, the spacious Naturen SPA area
with indoor pool, various saunas and steam bath invites you to relax. During the
summer months, guests have free access to the lido on Lake Ossiacher See.
Children and teenagers from 3-14 years can look forward to an exciting adventure
and activity programme with personal supervision in BIBIS Kinderwelt.
