We recommend suitable hikes with and without children of all ages. These hikes are of course tested by us in advance.

Guided hikes: While you can always discover the area on your own, we also offer free guided hikes - in various levels of difficulty and accompanied by our Carinthian mountain hiking guides.
Hiking bus : The hotel's own hiking bus ensures mobility during your holiday in the Naturel Hotels. On selected stages of the Alpe-Adria Trail you can hike comfortably from A to B and we will take you to the starting point of the hike and pick you up again at the finishing point.

"Erlebnis CARD" of the Villach Region
In addition to the Naturel programme, the Villach region offers programmes 7 days a week from May-October with the Erlebnis Card. It pays off to take part in the programmes led by local hiking guides. You will receive the Adventure Card free of charge at the reception upon arrival.

Climbing holiday in Carinthia
The climbing mountain called Kanzianiberg, or "Kanzi" among climbing fans, attracts many climbing enthusiasts as the largest and most spectacular sport climbing garden in Carinthia. With more than 300 routes and about 400 rope lengths, this mountain is one of the best climbing gardens in Austria. It can be reached comfortably from the Naturel Hotels & Resorts in just a few minutes by car.
Alpine schools, such as that of Sepp Egarter , are available with their know-how and offer many courses. The reception teams will be happy to advise you.
Close to the mountain resort DIE KANZLERIN there is also the Peterlewand - a climbing garden in St. Urban near Bodensdorf. Perfect for all climbing enthusiasts - whether beginners or advanced.
Get your climbing licence on holiday
Take your climbing certificate home with you to be able to use the climbing hall safely there too or to be able to secure your child yourself during the first climbing experiences:
- Climbing certificate Top Rope, level I for beginners
- Climbing certificate lead climbing, level II for advanced climbers
You can acquire both climbing certificates during your holiday at Naturel Hotels & Resorts under the guidance of a state-certified mountain and ski guide. Our partner, the Alpine School 4 Seasons, is on hand to offer advice and assistance. Of course there are many other climbing activities for beginners, for families or for very ambitious climbers in the close vicinity of the Naturel Hotels & Resorts at Lake Faak and on the Gerlitzen Alpe - ideal for all those who would like to experience an active holiday.
High-ropes parks in the Villach region
Ideal for families are the high ropes parks at Lake Faak, Lake Ossiach and the Gerlitzen Alpe. You can reach the Hochhinauf high ropes park on the Taborhöhe in just a few minutes, as it is located in the immediate vicinity of our Naturel Hoteldorf SEELEITN. An excursion is always worthwhile, if only because of the breathtaking view of Lake Faak. But there is also a forest and high ropes course within walking distance of our mountain resort DIE KANZLERIN: the Adventure Park Gerlitzen Alpe.
